Adele will be making debut at the VMA

MTV announced on Tuesday that Grammy Award winning artist Adele will be making her debut performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Aside from Adele, this year's lineup consists of Chris Brown and Lil Wayne who won the best rap album in 2009.

Each of the artist are nominated for an award. Adele received seven nominations for her song Rolling in the Deep.

The MTV Video Music Awards will air live on August 28th, at the Nokia Theater at 9:00 p.m..
