And finally! Sony recently released the first photo(s) of the new Spider-Man, The Social Network star, Andrew Garfield.
The Spider-Man re-boot directed by Marc Webb is titled "The Amazing Spider-Man." It stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He will be joined by Rhys Ifans (Lizard), Martin Sheen (Uncle Ben), Sally Field (Aunt May), Denis Leary (Stone) and Gwen Stacy as Emma Stone. Campbell Scott and Julianne Nicholson will play Peter Parker's parens (Richard and Mary Parker.) Chris Zylka is also starring in the film as Flash Thomson.
Other cast members are Irrfan Khan, Annie Parisse, Miles Elliot and C. Thomas Howell.
Spider-Man is scheduled to be released on July 3rd, 2012.
