During the San Diego Comic-Con we learned that the 1970's classic TV series Charlie's Angels is getting another re-boot in a form of a TV show.
In 2000, the series was adapted into film by McG and it starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Lui. The 2000 Charlie's Angels was then followed up by a 2003 sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
The original Charlie's Angels starring Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith played three sexy investigators who fought crooks for a mysterious man named Charlie.
In the film adaptation, the three new characters gave life to edgy and campy Angels but still remaining sexy.
In the new "re-re-boot", the new trio will portray "serious-minded detectives" who are fit to match a crime show filled with a lot of action.
Charlie's Angels stars Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh, and Rachael Taylor. The re-re-boot will air on the ABC network this fall and it will produced by no other than a Charlie's Angel herself, Drew Barrymore.
