World's first Schwarzenegger museum

On Austrian actor former politician Arnold Schwarzenegger's 64th birthday (July 30th), a world's first museum dedicated to him opened.

The museum housing 1000 objects and photos of the former body builder is located in Thal in Southern Austria, Schwarzenegger's birth place.

Schwarzenegger did not attend the first opening of the museum but according to the organizers, the "Styrian Oak" will be attending a grander opening on a later date.

The museum displays Schwarzenegger's very first weights among other things. The museum also features Schwarzenegger's Hollywood career and has a life-size model of Terminator in a corner.

It was said that when Schwarzenegger visits the museum (which the date is still yet to be determined), he is expected to bring with him a 10-foot high bronze statue the actor/politician commissioned from a US artist to be used as adornment for the outside of the museum.
