One of the books in Stieg Larsson's award-winning "Millinneum Series" is getting another adaptation.
"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (original Swedish title "Män som hatar kvinnor"), the first book in Larsson's series will be by Academy award-winning director David Fincher ("Fight Club") and unlike its Swedish counterpart by Niels Arden Oplev, this adaptation will be in English.

The original Swedish adaptation of Larsson's "Millineum Series" starred Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist who both starred in the other two films in the trilogy. The 2011 adaptation stars English actor Daniel Craig ("Casino Royale") and American television and film actress, Rooney Mara ("Social Network") as Lisbeth Salander.
The original Swedish film version of the book received positive reviews and Rapace's performance was greatly praised making "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" an unforgettable film.

The film is scheduled to be released both in United States and Canada on the 21st of December, 2011.
