"From the Sky Down" opens TIFF

The 36th annual Toronto International Film Festival starts today with From the Sky Down as the first documentary film opening the festival.

From the Sky Down, a documentary about the Irish rock band U2 is a film by Academy award winning American director Davis Guggenheim. The Irish band appeared at the TIFF red carpet, attending the documentary's premiere at the festival.

TIFF is being held at its home, TIFF Bell Lightbox, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from September 8th through the 18th.
