It seems Justin Bieber is one lucky guy! His girlfriend, Selena Gomez, has been named Glamour magazine's Woman of the Year. Gomez is featured on the front cover of the magazine's December issue, looking more like a Hollywood heavyweight than the Disney darling she's more widely known as.
Gomez's work on screen was just part of the reason she was selected. The magazine also acknowledged the work she does off screen, as the youngest ever ambassador for UNICEF and also as ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
Inside the magazine, Gomez talks about her close friendship with country singer Taylor Swift and her famous boyfriend's fans. "I adore his fans. I would never, ever want to disrespect them," the young actress said. "You know, I get it: I was obsessed with Jesse McCartney growing up! He was my world. My high school crush. So I respect it, and if anything, I admire it."
So what does the future look like for the Woman of the Year? Well, Gomez is set to feature in several movies, work on an upcoming album and step back into the magical shoes of Alex Russo, in a "Wizards of Waverly Place" special. From the looks of things, it appears that there's nothing this woman can't do!
