Miley Cyrus has successfully obtained a restraining order against a man who jumped her fence back in September and told police that he wanted to meet the singer. Jason Luis Rivera was arrested after it was discovered he was hiding in the bushes on the property and had a pair of scissors in his possession.
The pop star was not at home at the time, but police arrived after receiving a 911 call from the house, where they arrested Rivera. He has been sentenced to 18 months in prison, but due to overcrowding, he may serve a fraction of the time and be released in May.
Understandably, Cyrus has taken her own precautions and applied for a three year restraining order against Rivera, which was granted to Cyrus on Friday.
