No, not Julia Louis Dreyfus - the actual Vice President, Joe Biden! Though, Julia would be an awesome guests star as well!
Biden frequently has been mentioned on the show as an object of fascination by lead character Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler. He does have a rather charming smile!
The vice president's office said Biden taped a cameo appearance back in July. He said Thursday on Twitter that "my whole family loves the show, and I had a great time doing it." The appearance had to be kept secret until after the election or the show would have to offer Paul Ryan a similar cameo because of the "Equal time to all Parties" clause.
To see Mr. Biden, tune in to "Parks and Recreation" this coming Thursday!
