Kirstie Alley Reveals the Love of her Life
In a recent interview with Barbara Walters for ABC's "20/20" (set to air on Friday), Kirstie Alley has revealed that she had to try hard to resist running off and marrying John Travolta, her co-star in the movie "Look Who's Talking".
"Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John. And be with John for the rest of my life," Alley admitted. The actress was, at the time, married to Parker Stevenson and when Walters questioned her as to why she didn't leave her husband, Alley replied "Because I feel like when you marry someone you're supposed to work hard at it, and you're supposed to make it work."
Things have certainly changed since Alley and Travolta filmed the movie over 20 years ago. Travolta married actress Kelly Preston and the two now have a family together, while Alley has moved on from Stevenson and has since been involved in other relationships.
Despite their other relationships though, Alley and Travolta remain close friends, due, in part, to the fact that both of them are believers in Scientology.
What do you think of this revelation? Do you think Kirstie and John would have made a good couple?
