Daniel Radcliffe: Secured to Promote Final Potter Film

Potter will be there.

Warner Bros. made sure that "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is free from any commitment to be able to attend the premiere and promote the final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise. And it cost Warner Bros. a lot. $500, 000 to be exact.

Radcliffe was recently cast in the revival of Broadway musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and the show's schedule conflicted with the "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows 2" premiere.

Warner Bros. was reported to have had a "bitter" negotiations with the Broadway show's producers and the studio ended up paying, freeing Radcliffe for five nights securing his attendance at the "Harry Potter" premiere.

"How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" will be shown at the Al Hirschfeld Theater in NYC. It previewed on February 26th, 2011 and will be open on March 27th.

"Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows 2" will premiere on July 7th at London's Trafalgar Square.
