Who does not love zombies?
If you do then you probably have seen AMC's successful series "The Walking Dead" and you are most likely awaiting for the next season which is set to come out in October, 2011.
October is still months away, but do not fret. While waiting for Sherriff Rick Grimes' return, you can re-watch the first 6 episodes of the series as it comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on March 8, 2011.
"The Walking Dead" follows the story of small Kentucky town Sherriff Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) who fell into a coma after a terrible shootout and woke up to the world populated by the walking dead.
"The Walking Dead" is based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Arlard's comic book series of the same name. Publication started in 2003 under Image Comics and since then garnered a strong and large following. AMC bought the rights to the comic book series which then developed by "The Shawshank Redemption" director Frank Darabont for TV. Darabont also directed the series' first episode.
