Facebook, the second most visited site in the US- according to the Internet marketing research firm, ComScore- has become even more, well, social.
With the new application Warner Bros. has launched, the 600 million plus Facebook users not only can 'like' their friends' recommended movies, but can watch them as well while logged on.
Starting off the application today, Warner Bros. is renting out Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight." If you are from the US and one of the nearly 3 million registered Facebook users who 'liked' "The Dark Knight" then you can view the movie for $3 for 48 hours.
Eventually, Warner Bros. will be offering a variety of movies under this application including the option of buying and downloading them directly from your Facebook account.
