“Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot ‘Wonder Woman’. I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait.” It's not yet official but British bombshell Elizabeth Hurley was rather excited when she tweeted about playing an "evil villain" in NBC's new series "Wonder Woman."
Hurley is not new in playing the sexy villainess as she had magnificently portrayed a couple in past projects- "Bedazzled" and "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery." This time, Hurley will portray Ms. Veronica Cale- "the beautiful, highly educated and highly accomplished" head of a pharmaceutical company.
Once "pesky visa issues" have been taken care of, Hurley will play opposite Adrianne Palicki who will revive Wonder Woman; a character popularized by Lynda Carter on TV from 1975-1979.
"Wonder Woman" was written by David E. Kelly ("The Practice" and "Ally McBeal") and directed by Jeffrey Reiner.
